Timeless trends for kitchens
For many years now shaker style kitchens have been ruling the roost! This classic and versatile style works wonderfully in both contemporary and traditional homes. We see shaker kitchens in all colours, some go bold or even two-tone with their cabinets, while others opt for classic shades like royal blue or forest green. We find that most customers like to use more neutral colours for their worktops with quartz and ceramic being popular choices. However, we have seen some customers contrast their cabinets with striking granite worktops which also looks incredible!
Another timeless option is monochrome kitchens with clear cut lines. This look stays ultramodern and stunning. Our 20 millimetre quartz worktops are popular for this style and finishes such as drainer grooves and moulded and shaped sinks also really add to the modern aesthetic.
The kitchen really is the heart of the home, and we see a lot of open plan kitchens with an island in the centre. Islands are handy for extra storage, seating and of course congregating around at drinks parties! Many match their kitchen worktops and island tops with the same stone for stunning results.

Bathroom trends that never fade away
Marble has been used in bathrooms for centuries, so it is certainly not going anywhere! Marble can be used to tile and clad bathroom walls, showers and wet rooms and is a perfect choice because it is naturally water resistant. It is both practical and beautiful, creating a luxurious and high-end space that will last the test of time.
Quartz and ceramic are also extremely popular as you can use one piece for cladding, and they can be slightly more affordable than natural stones. There are many colours available in our Oyster Quartz and Oyster Ceramica ranges that are ideal for bathrooms, so you’re guaranteed to find one to match your style.
Another feature that you will thank yourself for years to come is underfloor heating, this is a lovely touch throughout the home but particularly in bathrooms. We have recently seen an increasing demand for fabulous outdoor kitchens! We found during the covid pandemic that people were looking to improve their homes, and once they were happy with the indoors, they soon turned their attention to their outdoor space.
Outdoor kitchens, dining areas and fire pits create extra space for the family to enjoy for years to come. Resin-free, durable stones like natural granite and ceramic are the ideal material for these as they can withstand heat and they will also not fade in the sun as they are resistant to UV rays.
